“I was looking for a job that would allow me to make a genuine contribution to the energy transition and help create a sustainable future. Preferably with a growing scale-up where different interests converge and the stakes are high. Eneco eMobility operates at the heart of the energy transition. With a young and ambitious team, we are making huge advances and certainly putting our money where our mouth is. 

“I was trained as a business strategy advisor, which enables me to advise management on goals and long-term plans while supporting project acceleration. I’m currently helping to accelerate a large IT project in my newly created role as Technology Transition Lead. I am responsible for managing the entire project, ensuring our technology landscape is scalable and future-proof.” 

From 7 to 150 colleagues 

“Over the last five years, we’ve undergone substantial growth, going from seven to 150 employees and from a few hundred to tens of thousands of charging stations. To meet the demand from the rapidly changing market, we are transitioning to a future-proof IT landscape, focusing on automation and improving our customer service and experience. For instance, we have introduced apps for smart charging and monitoring and have been developing collaborative solutions with our installation partners. 

“Building new portals and apps and establishing financial systems are just a few of the many tasks involved in our technology transition. Almost everyone in the company is involved, including sales, installers, customer care and, of course, the 35-strong technology team. There is a lot that has to be discussed and coordinated between departments. To support that, I recently organised a successful kick-off for the IT team and business leads, making sure everyone was aware of our roadmap.”
