“When I started working for Eneco eMobility Belgium back in 2020, only six people worked here. Since then, the company has grown substantially and there are now 30 of us in total. As a partner manager, I advise major corporations on how to make their fleet more sustainable and help them put all the pieces of the jigsaw together. Being part of Eneco, we are able to offer a complete solution, which is really cool. There’s more to our business than installing charging stations – we also generate renewable electricity from wind and solar farms and offer energy contracts.  

“In Belgium, we are currently in the middle of the transition to electric mobility. Although I don’t possess a background in engineering or the energy sector, I’ve realised that with a healthy amount of curiosity and a keen interest in the market you can quickly develop the necessary expertise to share your insights. I really enjoy doing that. With Eneco, I also get plenty of opportunities for personal growth. Last year, for example, I attended a training course on sustainability management. 

“After travelling around Australia and New Zealand for three months, I set my sights on a job with Eneco eMobility. During my time there, I saw first-hand the impact we are having on the coral in the Great Barrier Reef. It really dawned on me that urgent action is needed.
