“Our company is growing rapidly and product development is constantly in fifth gear”, says Wim, who joined Eneco eMobility in April 2019. As product manager, he develops new product ideas and improvements for Eneco eMobility’s charge cards: “Technology is changing very fast in our market – just like customer expectations. That’s why we have to continuously improve and further develop our products to remain commercially attractive.” 

Through customer research, Wim knows exactly how customers use their charge cards and what they miss or would like to change: “I translate these insights into concrete improvements or new product ideas, which can be very technical. I then need to bring in our software partner. But it can also involve a concrete service improvement, which I discuss with our customer service department. That type of variety is what I like most about my job.”  

Wim made a conscious decision to choose Eneco eMobility as an employer: “Sustainability is important to me. The energy transition has really taken off, and I’m proud to contribute. Our market is very dynamic, sometimes unpredictable and packed with innovation. No two days are the same, and you have to be able to switch quickly between operations and strategy. I still get a lot of satisfaction from that every day.”
